Join us for our Calendula Treatment & Ceremony as we open the space for this master healer to guide us. Give yourself time to rest, recuperate, receive and ask in ceremony for clarity on what you really need in your healing journey.
Sometimes all what is needed is to step back and allow Spirit to take over. Allow your body to do what it already knows how to do - come home into balance, into harmony, into connection. This can provide the clarity needed to take the next step in the healing journey - whatever that may be in the spirit or in the physical body.
Calendula is a healer and a powerful master teacher who can guide, show and help us. With her brightness she opens a clear view straight into life with all its holes, hills and valleys. During this Calendula & Cacao Ceremony we will work with Calendula as a master healer through healing tea, healing herbal oil, meditation and sound journey.
This is also an opportunity to ask this master teacher for clarity on the healing you need, whether it be physical, emotional, mental or spiritual.

More about Calendula & Cacao in ceremony
This is truly one of our favorite mixtures of plants. Calendula is such a sweet, loving, bright energy that together with Cacao has blown us away - both in their gentle, mothering, loving, kind way.
Calendula
There is much to say about Calendula (Morgenfrue in Danish or Pot Marigold as the common English name - it is not the same as ornamental Marigolds of the Tagetes genus). We have planted it all over our garden and the kind sunshine this plant radiates is wondrous to behold. It is a nurturing, generous, loving, motherly plant with a sensual sparkle in its eye.
We work with this plant in many ways, such as in yoni steams, in teas, in our homemade herbal healing oils, along with Cacao, etc. Calendula is such a generous plant that can bloom late into the fall and even withstand some frost. It shares beautiful flowers, the orange/yellow glow of sunshine and healing even into the cold frost.
As it grows - so it helps: Calendula is generous in the way it shares and makes the plants around it better - it attracts beneficial pollinators and repels garden pests that feed on its neighboring plant friends.
The name "Marigold" refers to Mary (another wonderful plant with a Mary name - like rosemary). Calendula has antifungal, anti-inflammatory, and antibacterial properties and is used for wounds and skin conditions. It is also commonly used in vaginal health.
Ceremonial Cacao
Cacao has been used as a sacred plant medicine in rituals, ceremonies and rites of passage for many thousands of years in south and central America. It is an amazing and profoundly healing plant medicine - both gentle, powerful and enjoyable!
In this ceremony we will work with cacao as a sacred door opener into the world of Calendula.
The energy of cacao can be like a mother - so grounded, so loving, so deeply nourishing and connected to the earth. It is a wise, ancient and powerful plant medicine.
Cacao allows us to deepen into whatever practice or connection intentionally work with. Some comes to our ceremonies to reconnect to their hearts. Others comes for a pause, a resting place between the sometimes stressed everyday life. Others come to connect deeper with the healing energy, wisdom and medicine of nature. Whatever perspective you come from you are welcome.

The Ceremony
Guided by the loving spirit of Calendula & Cacao, acoustic music and the energy of slow, introverted autumn darkness we will gather and journey inwards.
This is an opportunity for giving yourself a pause, a rest, a little oasis of medicine with whatever you need at that moment in the soft embrace of the spirit of Cacao, singing and the shamanic drum. A space where you can allow yourself to be present with exactly what is right for you at that moment.
We will be indoors in the magical womb-space of wombmassage.dk on Østerbro.

This ceremony will be a 5 hour intuitive Cacao/Calendula journey where we allow the plants to facilitate the flow. It will be a mixture of meditation, sounds, singing, shamanic drumming, shamanic treatments, relaxation, prayer and more.
There are no prerequisites & nothing you have to do, no specific way you have to be or preform during the ceremony. Come as you are with all that you are.
Together we will share a potluck dinner (sammenskudsgilde) and invite you to see this meal as part of the medicine as well.
