Blue Lotus Rising: Healing Inner & Outer Waters Ceremony
Join Us for a Journey with Blue Lotus and Water
Harvesting a Egyptian Blue Lotus, Cairo 2025
Blue Lotus Rising
I’m on a mission with and for the divine Blue Lotus: to heal our inner and outer waters & to rise together out of the mud and into the light of consciousness, of loving kindness and compassion. A big mission, yes? That is why we need each other, to weave together, to support and co-create. This is not an “us against them” situation. No, we are all in the same boat, all integrated and interconnected parts of the same world.
I invite you for a ceremony to step deeper into the web of life, the flow of water and the weaving together supported by Blue Lotus. We will in turn work with this energy to support our local waterways. This is a ceremony for the living waters within, around, everywhere!
Date: Sunday the 6th of April
Time: 14.00-18.30 Cet (usually our ending potluck flows into lovely conversation, so plan on giving yourself ample of time to land and leave after ceremony)
Location: Our garden outside Holbæk
Contribution: 440 kr
With the Egyptian Blue Lotus, Cairo, 2025
An Invitation to Flow
I invite you to join our intimate gathering where we'll work with the ancient wisdom of Blue Lotus and the flowing energy of water to heal both our inner landscapes and the waterways around us.
Blue Lotus—revered by ancient civilizations as a master teacher of devotion and consciousness—emerges from dark mud, passes through water, and blooms in light. This sacred cycle of birth, death, and rebirth mirrors our own journey toward transformation. I have not been in a single temple in Egypt that does not have Blue Lotus depicted on the walls.
Our Journey Together
Our ceremony unfolds in three movements:
1. Blue Lotus Ritual (Garden)
We begin in the garden with an introduction to Blue Lotus—its history, spiritual significance, and transformative potential. Through guided meditation and ritual, we'll invite this master plant teacher to help us access deeper states of presence and devotion.
2. Stream Prayer Circle
We'll walk together to a local stream where we'll engage in water prayers—honoring the waters that flow through our bodies and our land. Here, we'll release what no longer serves us and commit to becoming active stewards of our waterways.
3. Community Feast
We complete our circle with a shared potluck, where each person brings a dish to honor our connection. This time allows us to integrate our experience while building community.
Why This Matters
The healing of our inner waters—our emotions, creative flow, and spiritual depth—is intimately connected to the healing of Earth's waters. As we clear our internal blockages and align with our highest purpose, we naturally step into our role as guardians of the waters that sustain all life.
This gathering marks the beginning of a series of "Healing the Waters" events, where we'll explore different practices for working with water consciousness on both personal and planetary levels.
What to Bring
A small offering for the waters (flower, biodegradable item, or simply your prayers)
A dish to share for our potluck
Journal and pen
Comfortable clothing appropriate for outdoor movement
A small container to take some blessed water home (optional)
An open heart and willingness to flow

"From the mud to the stem to the flower to source—nothing is too small or too big to dance with, and dance we will."
“When I close my eyes she is there, guiding me, whispering sweet songs of pure peace. When I look at my life I see the seeds of peace that was planted all over. Slowly awakening and rooting. For me, Blue Lotus is a flower of Peace!”
Flower of Peace: Blue Lotus
Blue Lotus holds a sacred place in the hearts of ancient civilizations, revered for its profound spiritual significance and magic. It is associated with higher levels of consciousness, peace, presence, rebirth, death, fertility, magic, and much mystery and ancient initiations of mystery schools. In Egypt, it is deeply connected to stories of creation, the sun, death and rebirth. It has been used for centuries in medicine, magic, rituals, foods, celebrations, fertility rites and more. If you visit the ancient temples of Egypt, you will find the Blue Lotus depicted on most, if not all, of the temples and tombs throughout the sacred lands.
There is an ancient prophecy that speaks of a time when Blue Lotus would return to the Nile, awakening human consciousness once more. That time is now.
The physical manifestation of plants often provides insight into their spirit and medicine. Blue Lotus, also known as the Sacred Blue Water Lily of the Nile (it is not in the lotus family, but actually a water lily), grows wild in ponds and waterways, including the Nile in ancient times. It thrives only in clean water, emerging from the deep, dark mud, passing through the water and blooming in the light for only three days each year. During these three days, it opens to the sun and closes its petals each night to submerge again, reborn with the sunrise. Birth, death and rebirth. The flower (if not plucked) will submerge into the deep waters, into the death for around 28 days and end in an explosion of seeds into the water. The flower fully surrenders, lets go and dies - and from that, new life emerges.
“What heals is the spirit of the plant - not simply the physical properties.”
